Dr. Nagaria graduated from Sri Devaraj Urs Medical School in 2001. He completed his Internship at Flushing Medical Center, and the remaining part of his Internal Medicine Residency Program at Rutgers/University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he went on to complete a Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. During Dr. Nagaria’s tenure at Rutgers, he published several abstracts in major medical journals and served as Chief Medical Resident at Hackensack University Medical Center.
Although he was raised in Maryland, he is very happy to serve the NJ community where he did all his training. He has been with Ocean Family Gastroenterology since 2010 where he treats a wide variety of GI conditions and performs numerous procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and hemorrhoidal banding.
Dr. Nagaria’s passion about health and overall well-being persuaded him to become board certified in Obesity Medicine, in addition to his current certification of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. During his years of practice, he has been awarded NJ Top Doc, most recent for 2020, along with Vitals Compassionate Doctor Recognition.
